It has been a long time since I have updated anything here!
My daughters are now 11 and 8 and reading back on the posts I shared, those days feel like a lifetime ago.
I feel like I have been through a transformation. Both physically and personally – in terms of my personal development.
I look a bit different to how I did!
I have spent a long time trying to lose weight. At my heaviest, I was nearly 14 stone and I felt like I was inside someone else’s body!
After lockdown I was determined to lose weight and to keep it off.
I tracked calories religiously…fasted on most days for as long as possible and plunged myself into a severe calorie deficit.
Yes, I lost a lot of weight quickly initially but it wasn’t sustainable and I could see myself falling back into bad habits.
I also had no energy…at all. I had fainting spells, was tired all the time, my blood pressure dropped dramatically and I was put on folic acid and iron tablets.
My best friend- quite rightly- told me I couldn’t carry on like I was and made some suggestions about what I could do to improve my nutrition. She had been using the Herbalife products for years but I always had every excuse not to try them. I think she thought I was a lost cause!
I thought it would be a pain to make a shake for breakfast but it takes 30 seconds. I thought it would work out more expensive but I’ve saved money as I’m not grabbing chocolate and muffins or cake each day because I’m dying of hunger because I’ve skipped meals. I thought not eating at all was better as it was less calories than a shake 
Having a shake (and a 6 calorie tea!) which contains all the nutrients and vitamins my body needs has been a game changer.
I’ve got more energy and I’m not tired all the time. I’m also the lowest weight that I’ve been now since university and I’m a size small in Zara!!
